Here's a pic from the new set I put up, of the kiddo playing with his new blocks. You can see the rest here: link
The last two days we went up to Snoqualmie pass to go tubing with the little ones. It's fun, and the adults get to do all the work! The wee ones just stay in the tubes while we drag them up and down the hill.
Yesterday Elizabeth learned to snowboard with her pops, and it looked awesome. I'm taking lessons tomorrow, and have my eye on getting Seamus on a board this winter sometime.
Happy new year (almost).

Seamus' Big Day
We're back home. Everything is cool except for the pervasive smell of rotten garlic oil. More importantly...Seamus had a sweet gift waiting for him. Behold the bed tent!
Thanks Jen Bernie Elliot!
Some choice quotes from the boy while I set it up:
"I luff it!" <----at least 6 times!
"A tent a tent a tent a tent a tent a tent a tent a tent!"
"Wowo, I've never seeeeen this before!"

Saddest Cake Ever
Friday, at the grocery store, Seamus suggested we bake a cake. I tell the kid no so many times each day that it gets a little deptessing sometimes. So I played ball on the cake idea, despite that I've never frosted anything, and the fact that KT and I don't really like cake. Katie was getting ready to travel for the week, and so Sea and I decided it'd be a going away cake for Momma.
Sorry for the photo, hope I didn't give anyone nightmares.
